100-hour SOMÆ Embodied Yin Yoga Immersion
-
This 100-hour Yin yoga immersion unfolds across three progressive levels, each carefully designed to guide you deeper into the inner landscape of Yin.
Rooted in experience, this training emphasises self-practice and embodied exploration. You’ll be invited to journey inwards, cultivating a personal connection to Yin that will allow you to teach with authenticity, clarity, and confidence.
Alongside a rich foundation in anatomy, theory and philosophy, the training will highlight the true gifts of Yin: expanding our capacity for introspection, awakening our interoception (known as our ‘sixth sense’), and deepening our somatic awareness.
More than a training, this is an immersive experience—an opportunity to slow down, listen deeply, and discover the transformative power of a softer approach to yoga.

SOMÆ is the ‘School of Movement and Embodiment’ founded by Echo Elliott and Oceana Mariani.
Echo Elliott is one of London’s most loved senior yoga teachers with over ten years of teaching experience. While she is known for her skilful and creative approach to asana, Echo’s teaching extends far beyond the physical practice. The depth of her offering is rooted in her lived experience and a profoundly authentic, contemporary understanding of yoga philosophy. She embodies the wisdom and truth of the practice, giving yoga a relatable and resonant voice in today’s world. Her teaching is grounded in her own self-inquiry and devotion to her self-practice – something that she actively supports in her classes so that her students feel confident in finding and embracing their own path.
Oceana Mariani is an experienced yoga teacher and Feldenkrais™ practitioner with more than eight years of teaching experience. Early on in her teaching career she was deeply impacted by studying with Sarah Powers, one of Yin’s creators, which changed the course of her practice. She now explores the intersections between yogic concepts of the subtle body and how somatic movement might provide tangible, embodied ways of exploring these more elusive parts of ourselves. In finding more accessible ways of expanding our sensory awareness she hopes to empower students to form stronger connections between the physical, mental, and emotional parts of themselves in meaningful ways.
